Yokogawa Electric Corporation SED4D-11 Terminal Block

The Yokogawa SED4D-11 is a digital terminal board (terminal block) used in Yokogawa ProSafe-RS and CENTUM VP systems to provide structured wiring between I/O modules and field devices, serving as the interface layer for secure digital signals in safety instrumented systems and general process control environments. It supports single or dual-redundant configurations with 16 channels per board (16 channels × 2) and uses M4 screw terminals for robust digital input/output connections, making it suitable for connecting digital I/O modules to field devices in SIS, ESD, fire & gas, and related applications. Electrical ratings include up to about 5 A per channel, a withstand voltage of 500 V AC for 1 minute, and insulation resistance of at least 100 MΩ at 500 VDC, with the AKB331 dedicated signal cable used for reliable signal transmission. The terminal block is rack-mounted within the ProSafe-RS system, and common replacements include the SED4D-06, SEA4D / SBA4D terminal boards, and the AET4D series.
