Yokogawa Electric Corporation SDV541-S63 S3 Digital Output Module

The Yokogawa SDV541-S63 S3 Digital Output Module is a 16-channel, 24 VDC digital output interface designed to translate controller commands into ON/OFF signals for field devices in Yokogawa CENTUM VP and ProSafe-RS systems. As a current-sourced output module, each channel can source up to 0.2 A (≈3.2 A total) at 24 VDC, with an output voltage drop of ≤1 V and a minimum load current of ~35 mA. It draws power from an external 24 VDC supply rated at about 3.4 A (+20% / -10% tolerance). Typical response time is ~30 ms. The module provides isolation between channels and the host system and supports operation from -20 to 70 °C (S3 rating). The interface uses a signal cable interface adapter with suffix “6.” In practical use, it enables real-time control of relays, solenoids, actuators, valves, alarms, motors, and interlocks, making it suitable for demanding environments such as oil & gas, LNG plants, power generation, and chemical processing. Compatible with Yokogawa CENTUM VP / ProSafe-RS (FIO / ESB architecture).
