Description:
The Yokogawa CP451-11 Control Processor Module is the central CPU for Yokogawa CENTUM CS 3000 and CENTUM VP field control units, tasked with executing control logic and managing real-time DCS operations. It is a high-speed processor with onboard memory that supports dual-redundant configurations and is rack-mounted within an FCU chassis, weighing approximately 0.7–1 kg. Operating from 0°C to 55°C, it enables continuous and sequence control and coordinates plant-wide automation across distributed control architectures, with common applications in oil and gas, chemical plants, power generation, and manufacturing. This model is discontinued and replaced by CP451-51, with common replacements including Yokogawa CP461 and CP471.
