Yokogawa AMM42T S2 Transmitter Input Multiplexer Module

The Yokogawa AMM42T S2 Transmitter Input Multiplexer Module consolidates up to 16 4–20 mA signals from field transmitters and feeds them into Yokogawa CENTUM CS/CS3000 control systems. Installed in Yokogawa CENTUM DCS cabinets, it uses the AMT16M 16-point terminal block to multiplex multiple analog inputs into a single DCS input module, reducing wiring complexity. Specifications include 4–20 mA DC inputs, accuracy approx. ±10 µA, data update period about 1 second, and no isolation between channels or the system (shared common); typical transmitter loop voltage is around 24 VDC. The module is mounted in the I/O module nest within DCS racks and is commonly used in oil & gas, chemical plants, and power generation to collect analog signals such as pressure, flow, and temperature. Common replacements include Yokogawa AAI143, AAM10, and AAT145 analog input modules.
