Yokogawa ALF111-S50 Foundation Fieldbus Module

The Yokogawa ALF111-S50 FOUNDATION Fieldbus Communication Module provides reliable FOUNDATION Fieldbus communication in distributed control systems, commonly installed in Yokogawa CENTUM DCS node units and field control stations to link field devices to the control system, with widespread use in oil and gas, chemical plants, power generation, and manufacturing environments. As a Link Active Scheduler (LAS) and clock master, it manages timing and data exchange across four ports (one segment per port) at 31.25 kbps, supporting up to 32 devices and up to 48 I/O points per segment. It uses FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 (low-speed voltage mode) and mounts on Yokogawa node units such as ANB10, AFV series, and A2FV series, with dual-redundant configurations and a 1500 VAC field-to-system withstand rating; current consumption is ≤0.5 A. Common replacements include ALF111-S00 and AIP502.
