The WIX 51145 Engine Oil Filter Cartridge is a cartridge-style, metal-free oil filter designed for full-flow lubrication systems in Mercedes-Benz engines, delivering high-efficiency oil contaminant filtration. It uses cellulose filtration media and measures 6.200 inches in height with an outer diameter of 2.441 inches at both the top and bottom and a bottom inner diameter of 0.925 inches (top inner diameter is closed). This filter is commonly installed in 1990–2004 Mercedes-Benz passenger cars—C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, SL-Class, and SLK-Class—with inline-6 gasoline engines, including MB M104 platforms, to support engine protection, contaminant removal, and OEM service intervals.
