Watts Regulator Company U5B Pressure Reducing Valve

The Watts Regulator Company U5B Pressure Reducing Valve lowers incoming municipal water pressure to a controlled downstream level, protecting plumbing fixtures, piping systems, appliances, and process equipment while reducing water consumption. It features a bronze body, integral stainless steel strainer, replaceable seat module, and a thermal expansion bypass, and is designed for easy inline maintenance without removing the valve from the piping. Specifications include a maximum working pressure of 300 PSI, an adjustable outlet pressure range of 25–75 PSI (factory setting 50 PSI), and a maximum operating temperature of 160°F; connections are threaded, solder, or quick-connect depending on model. It is suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial water systems to reduce pressure, improve equipment reliability, minimize water hammer, and protect potable water lines and devices.
