The Watts 77SI 3/4" Wye-Type Strainer is a cast-iron pipeline filter that removes dirt, rust, scale, pipe debris, and other foreign particles from liquid, steam, gas, and compressed air systems to protect downstream equipment such as regulators, pumps, valves, traps, and meters. It features a removable stainless steel screen and a threaded blow-off cap for easy maintenance, a 3/4-inch female NPT connection, and a 20-mesh stainless steel screen for debris capture. The strainer is rated up to 250 PSI WOG and 125 PSI steam, with a maximum operating temperature of 406°F (208°C), and can be installed horizontally or vertically with flow down. The Y-pattern design delivers efficient filtration with minimal pressure drop and is commonly used in water distribution, steam lines, compressed air, HVAC, boiler installations, pump protection, and process piping in industrial and commercial facilities.
