Watts 152A-M3 Direct Acting Steam Pressure Regulator

Watts 152A Model M3 Direct Acting Steam Pressure Regulator is a 3/4 in. direct-acting, self-operated pressure reducing valve designed to automatically lower higher inlet steam pressure to a controlled downstream setpoint in commercial and industrial steam systems. The cast-iron body uses a female NPT threaded connection and supports a downstream pressure range of 30–140 psi, making it suitable for boiler rooms, steam heating, heat exchangers, process equipment, and district heating networks where precise pressure control is critical. Common installations include boiler plants, steam distribution piping, sterilization systems, food and beverage processing facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturing, textile operations, commercial laundries, hospitals, universities, schools, hotels, and large institutional buildings. The regulator provides automatic downstream pressure reduction to protect equipment, improve process efficiency, and maintain consistent operating conditions for boilers, heat exchangers, and various process heating equipment.
