Watson McDaniel WD700S Thermodynamic Steam Trap

The Watson McDaniel WD700S Turbo Disc Trap is a repairable thermodynamic steam trap designed for 1/2 in. NPT steam piping that automatically discharges condensate while minimizing live-steam loss in high-pressure systems. Its chrome-moly alloy steel body houses an integral strainer and a quick-change capsule design for in-line maintenance, rated for a maximum allowable pressure of 600 PSIG and a maximum operating temperature of 800°F (427°C). With a 1/2 in. NPT female connection and a thermodynamic Turbo Disc operating principle, the WD700S is designed for saturated and superheated steam service and is commonly used in steam mains, drip legs, and tracing applications across power generation facilities, chemical processing plants, refineries, food and beverage manufacturing, industrial steam distribution networks, and process heating systems.
