Watson McDaniel TD600L-12-N Thermodynamic Steam Trap

The Watson McDaniel TD600L-12-N Thermodynamic Steam Trap automatically discharges condensate in high-pressure steam systems while minimizing the loss of live steam. This 1/2" NPT turbo-disc steam trap, version TD600L with a reduced discharge orifice, delivers efficient condensate removal and longer service life in saturated or superheated steam service. It is commonly installed in steam mains, steam supply lines, and tracing applications. Key specs include a 1/2 in. NPT female connection, thermodynamic disc operating principle, a maximum operating pressure of 600 PSIG, and an operating range of 3.5–600 PSIG (recommended above 30 PSIG). The unit tolerates up to 800°F (427°C) and uses 420 stainless steel for the body and disc, with 416 stainless steel for the cover. Horizontal installation is preferred, though it can operate in any orientation. It is suitable for industrial steam distribution systems, power generation facilities, chemical processing plants, refineries, food and beverage manufacturing, and outdoor steam tracing installations.
