The Vivotek IP8173H is a 3-megapixel mini-box network camera built for high-quality IP-based security and video monitoring in commercial buildings, retail facilities, government sites, industrial plants, and city surveillance projects. It records up to 2048x1536 resolution at up to 20 frames per second, with flexible streams in H.264, MPEG-4, or MJPEG to suit bandwidth and storage needs. Its vari-focal P-Iris lens covers 2.8–8 mm for precise scene framing, and it includes WDR Pro to preserve detail in challenging lighting, along with Day/Night operation via a removable IR-cut filter.
