Vexta ASD13A-AP Closed Loop Stepper Motor Driver

The Vexta ASD13A-AP Closed Loop Stepper Driver enables precise positioning and steady speed control in industrial motion-control systems by using hybrid closed-loop stepping with rotor position feedback and the included ASM46AA motor. It accepts 100–115 VAC input at 50/60 Hz on a single phase, drawing 3.3 A, and drives a motor rated 2.9 VDC and 0.9 A with a 1.65 in. square (42 mm) frame. The system provides 0.36° per pulse resolution (1000 P/R setting) and uses a round shaft for the motor, with the installation configured as a panel-mounted driver paired to an equipment-mounted motor. Typical applications include packaging machinery, semiconductor equipment, indexing systems, automated production lines, assembly equipment, material handling, and inspection machines, where dependable closed-loop control and accurate positioning are essential.
