The Verilink 4016-R ESF CSU is a rack-mounted Channel Service Unit that terminates T1 lines, provides signal conditioning, diagnostics, and key network interface functions for digital telecommunications systems. It supports Extended Superframe (ESF) framing to enable reliable T1 circuit connectivity between customer premises equipment and carrier networks, with built-in loopback testing and performance monitoring for ongoing line health.
