Description:
The TURCK BI5-M18-VN4X-H1141 inductive proximity sensor detects metallic objects without physical contact by sensing changes in an electromagnetic field, housed in a rugged M18 threaded cylindrical body with a ~5 mm sensing distance. It provides a PNP output (NO or NC depending on variant) from a 10–30 V DC supply and is designed for industrial automation where position sensing, end‑of‑travel detection, and part verification are required, such as OEM machinery, conveyors, packaging lines, CNC equipment, and robotics. Built for harsh industrial environments, it features a nickel-plated brass housing, IP67 protection, an M12 connector (H1141 style), a -25°C to +70°C operating range, and switching frequencies up to ~500 Hz (model dependent).
