Turck BI5-Q08-AP6X2-V1131 Inductive Proximity Sensor

The Turck BI5-Q08-AP6X2-V1131 is a compact rectangular inductive proximity sensor designed for non-contact detection of metallic targets in industrial automation. With a 5 mm sensing distance and a 3-wire PNP normally open output, it operates on 10–30 V DC and can switch up to 200 mA, making it suitable for position sensing and object detection in confined spaces. Encased in a nickel-plated Zamak housing (32 × 20 × 8 mm) with an M8 × 1 male connector, IP68 protection, and a flush-mount design, it withstands harsh packaging, conveyor, and assembly environments. The active face is PA12-GF30, and the unit includes green LED power and yellow LED switching indicators; operating temperature ranges from -25 °C to +70 °C, with a voltage drop ≤ 1.8 V, no-load current ≤ 15 mA, and built-in reverse polarity and short-circuit protections.
