The Turck BI5-Q08-AP6X2-0.2M-PSG3F is a compact rectangular inductive proximity sensor designed for non-contact detection of metallic targets in industrial automation. With a 5 mm sensing distance, it provides reliable position sensing and object detection in PLC-controlled processes and is well-suited for crowded installations on packaging equipment, conveyors, assembly fixtures, robotic work cells, and automated production lines. The sensor uses a 3-Wire PNP normally open output and operates from 10 to 30 VDC, delivering up to 200 mA while switching at about 1 kHz. Housed in a nickel-plated zamak rectangular Q08 body measuring 32 × 20 × 8 mm, it features a 0.2 m (7.9 in) pigtail cable with connector and an IP68 rating for washdown and rugged environments.
