Turck BI2-CRS317-AP4X2-B1141 S34 Cylinder Position Sensor

The Turck BI2-CRS317-AP4X2-B1141/S34 Cylinder Position Sensor delivers non-contact piston position sensing in hydraulic and high-pressure industrial systems with weld-field immunity. This inductive, high-pressure cylinder sensor is designed for direct installation into hydraulic equipment and features a 2 mm sensing distance with a 31.7 mm probe length, a 12.7 mm stainless steel housing (1.4305/AISI 303), and IP67 protection. It provides a PNP normally open output on a 3-wire DC configuration, powered from 10–65 VDC with up to 200 mA load, and a switching frequency of up to 30 Hz. The sensor connects via a Eurofast Quick Disconnect Connector (B1141) and can withstand static pressures up to 200 bar and dynamic pressures up to 100 bar. It includes reverse polarity protection, short-circuit protection, and magnetic field resistance to AC and DC fields, plus Green Power and Red Switching LEDs for status indication. The S34 variant offers weld-field immunity, making it suitable for automotive manufacturing and robotic welding cells, while common applications include hydraulic piston position monitoring, clamp verification, machine sequencing, and end-of-stroke detection in PLC-controlled systems, all operating from -25°C to +70°C.
