Turck BI1.5-EG08K-AN6X-3.5-RS4T Inductive Proximity Sensor

Turck BI1.5-EG08K-AN6X-3.5-RS4T is a shielded inductive proximity sensor for non-contact detection of metal targets in industrial automation. With a 1.5 mm sensing distance, it provides reliable part presence and position sensing on packaging lines, conveyors, robotic cells, and assembly stations where space is limited. It operates from 10–30 V DC and delivers a 3-wire DC output in an NPN normally open configuration. The sensor uses a stainless steel (AISI 303) M8 x 1 flush-mount housing, rated IP67, and tolerates -25°C to +70°C. A M12 4-pin male connector with a 3.5 m cable supplies power and signal, and an LED indicator provides status visibility. Switching frequency up to 3 kHz supports fast automation cycles, while the short-range, non-contact sensing is well-suited for end-of-travel sensing, machine positioning, and process sequencing in PLC-controlled equipment. Common applications include part presence verification, packaging machinery, conveyor systems, assembly equipment, and material handling where reliable metal-detection sensing is required.
