Tri-Tronics TRLR4 Tiny-Eye Red Light Sensor

The TRI-TRONICS TRLR4 Tiny-Eye Red Light Sensor is a compact photoelectric sensor designed for precision retroreflective detection in industrial automation. It operates from 10–30 VDC and uses a 660 nm red LED with an R4 retroreflective optical block to enable reliable sensing of targets in packaging equipment, conveyor systems, assembly lines, and material handling machinery. The sensor employs retroreflective sensing and offers an output that is NPN or PNP depending on the model configuration. Encased in high‑impact polycarbonate, it carries NEMA 4X and IP66 enclosure ratings and supports panel or machine mounting for flexible installation. Its operating temperature range is −40°C to 70°C (−40°F to 158°F), making it suitable for demanding industrial environments while remaining compact within the Tiny-Eye series ecosystem.
