Tri-Tronics SEPS-5 Single Function Counter

The TRI-TRONICS SEPS-5 Single Function Counter is a plug-in control module in the SEPS Plug-In Control Modules series that provides 24 VDC sensor power and converts NPN open-collector photoelectric sensor outputs into isolated dual TRIAC outputs for machine control. It accepts 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz input and supplies 24 VDC to connected sensors, while its dual TRIAC solid-state outputs are rated at 10 A at 120 VAC, making it suitable for event counting, machine sequencing, and product detection in packaging equipment, bottling lines, food processing machinery, conveyors, and manufacturing automation. The module mounts in a plug-in socket, is compatible with TRI-TRONICS DC-powered photoelectric sensors, and serves as a sensor interface and output switching device; common replacements include SEPS-1, SEPS-2, and SEPS-4.
