Trane 49500499 Expansion Module

The Trane 49500499 EX2 Expansion Module expands Tracer MP580 and MP581 controllers with additional I/O to monitor sensors and control HVAC equipment. It adds 6 universal inputs, 4 binary outputs, and 4 analog outputs, enabling expanded monitoring and actuator control in commercial HVAC, BAS, air handling units, VAV systems, and central plant controls. Powered from 24 VAC, 50/60 Hz, single-phase, with an operating voltage range of 19–30 VAC, the module is rated for -40°F to 158°F (-40°C to 70°C) operation and -40°F to 185°F (-40°C to 85°C) storage, with 10–90% non-condensing humidity. Its plastic enclosure supports panel mounting as an OEM expansion module, and it can be installed up to 1,000 ft (300 m) from the controller.
