TPC Wire & Cable Corp. 59450 90 Degree Kord Gard Grip

The TPC Wire & Cable Super-Trex® Kord-Gard® 59450 90° aluminum mesh strain relief grip delivers secure cable retention and environmental sealing for heavy-duty cables entering electrical equipment, reducing pull, bending, and vibration stress in harsh industrial environments. It is commonly installed on electrical enclosures, control panels, motor control centers, portable power equipment, and industrial automation systems where cables face moisture, oil, dust, chemicals, and vibration. The grip uses a 1-1/4 in NPT fitting with two bushings and an aluminum body, supporting cables with a range of 0.870–1.125 in outside diameter; the stainless steel double-weave mesh and nickel-plated friction ring work with synthetic sealing bushings and an O-ring to maintain a dust-tight, moisture-resistant seal. Operating from -40°C to 121°C, it delivers corrosion, oil, moisture, and chemical resistance and features a drop-in basket design for easier installation in confined entries.
