The TLV Thermo-Dyne A50-1 Steam Trap is a 1 in nominal size thermodynamic (disc-type) steam trap that automatically discharges condensate while preventing live steam loss, and its Thermo-Dyne design is well suited for high-pressure steam service and outdoor installations. The body is stainless steel (model dependent), with threaded or flanged connections depending on configuration, and it can be installed in either horizontal or vertical piping per manufacturer guidelines. It serves steam mains, drip legs, tracing lines, heat exchangers, and process equipment, and is used in chemical processing plants, refineries, power generation facilities, and food and beverage processing—industrial applications that require reliable condensate removal and energy-efficient steam retention.
