TLV S3-18Z Steam Trap

The TLV S3-18Z Quick-Trap Free Float steam trap is a mechanical steam trap that provides continuous condensate discharge while preventing live steam loss. With a 316L stainless steel body and Free Float mechanism, it enables reliable condensate removal on steam mains, drip legs, steam tracing systems, heat exchangers, and process equipment operating at medium to high pressures. Technical specifications include maximum operating pressure 345 psig, minimum operating pressure 1.5 psig, maximum differential pressure 250 psi, maximum operating temperature 752 °F (400 °C), and maximum allowable pressure 450 psig with maximum allowable temperature 752 °F (400 °C). It is compatible with TLV F46 and F32 Quick-Trap connector bodies and serves steam and condensate in industrial steam distribution and condensate recovery systems. Common applications span chemical processing plants, refineries, power generation facilities, pulp and paper mills, and food and beverage processing, and the trap supports retrofit or replacement of Quick-Trap traps with common replacements including TLV S5-18Z, TLV SH5NH, and TLV SS3N.
