TLV Co., Ltd. COS-16 Pressure Reducing Valve

The TLV COS-16 USNT pressure reducing valve is a self-actuated, pilot-operated steam regulator that automatically reduces and stabilizes steam pressure while delivering dry, process-ready steam to downstream equipment. It features an integrated separator, strainer, and Free Float® steam trap to improve steam quality and extend service life, making it ideal for heat exchangers, reactor vessels, steam tracing systems, dryers, presses, and other process heating installations in industrial facilities. The valve offers a primary pressure range of 30–250 psig and a secondary range of 5–210 psig, with a maximum operating pressure of 250 psig and a maximum temperature of 428 °F (220 °C); connections are threaded or flanged depending on configuration. It is commonly used in steam distribution and process heating across chemical processing plants, food and beverage manufacturing, pharmaceutical facilities, pulp and paper mills, and textile processing where precise steam pressure control and dry steam are required. For retrofits or upgrades, common replacements include TLV COS-21, S-COS-16, and PN-COS-16.
