Tjernlund HSUL-1 High Temperature Power Venter

The TJERNLUND HSUL-1 High Temperature Power Venter is a 4-inch sidewall venting device designed to exhaust flue gases from natural gas heating appliances while providing burner interlock protection. Built for residential and light commercial furnaces, boilers, unit heaters, and water heaters that require a 4-inch vent connection and 24 VAC burner control, it includes a factory-installed 24/115 VAC switching relay and a fan-proving switch to verify airflow before burner operation. Key specifications include 115 VAC motor voltage, 60 Hz, 3000 RPM, 166 W power consumption, 1.51 A current draw, thermal protection, and 4 in inlet and 4 in outlet vent connections. This unit is discontinued and commonly replaced by the HS1 series (HS1, HSJ, HS2).
