Titan YS51 Bronze Y-Strainer

The Titan YS51 Bronze Y-Strainer is a self-cleaning, cast bronze‑bodied debris filter designed to remove solids from liquid piping systems and protect downstream equipment. This Y-pattern strainer uses a stainless steel screen seated on a machined seat for improved filtration and features a gasketed threaded cap for easy maintenance. It employs a female NPT threaded connection and covers a size range of 1/4 in. to 4 in., with a tapped NPT blow-off connection to facilitate drainage and debris removal. Upstream of pumps, control valves, meters, heat exchangers, and spray nozzles, it reduces maintenance costs and extends system life in industrial process and commercial plumbing applications, including HVAC equipment, chilled and hot water systems, potable water distribution, irrigation, marine applications, and general utility piping where clean fluid flow is essential. The YS51 is manufactured by Titan Flow Control and is commonly used in new installations, retrofits, and replacements to ensure reliable protection of downstream components.
