Timken 455197N Oil Seal

Timken 455197N National Oil Seal is a single-lip oil seal with a loaded spring designed to retain lubricants while preventing dirt, moisture, and other contaminants from entering rotating shaft systems. It is used in industrial gearboxes, pumps, electric motors, conveyor systems, mining equipment, construction machinery, and other heavy-duty equipment to protect bearings and lubricated components. Maintenance teams, OEMs, and industrial repair specialists rely on it for equipment replacement, rebuilds, retrofits, and preventive maintenance to improve sealing performance and extend component life. Part of Timken’s National 450000 series, this Type 45, plain round seal uses polyacrylate for both the seal and lip material with a 70–75 durometer and is supplied with Redi-Coat for easier handling.
