Timken 450446 Single Lip Oil Seal Industrial Grade

The Timken National Oil Seal 450446 is a single-lip oil seal with a spring that retains lubricants and blocks dirt, moisture, and other contaminants from entering rotating shaft systems. It features a solid construction with an inner case and is made from nitrile (NBR) with Redi-Coat, designed for inch-based sizing. Key dimensions include a shaft diameter of 2.000 in (50.80 mm), outside diameter of 2.717 in (69.01 mm), housing bore of 2.713 in (68.91 mm), and overall width of 0.468 in (11.89 mm). The seal supports a maximum shaft surface speed of 3000 ft/min and allows misalignment of 0.015 in at 800 rpm or 0.010 in at 4200 rpm. It operates across -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C). Typical applications span general rotating equipment such as industrial gearboxes, conveyor systems, pumps, electric motors, construction equipment, mining machinery, and heavy-duty vehicle drivetrains.
