The Timken Company 415498 Radial Shaft Oil Seal

The Timken National 415498 radial shaft oil seal is a Type 41, multi-lip nitrile (NBR) seal built into a steel case with inner case for heavy-duty industrial gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, compressors, electric motors, and other rotating equipment to retain lubricant and exclude dust, dirt, and moisture. The seal rides on a 3.562 in shaft (90.47 mm) with an outside diameter of 4.504 in (114.402 mm) and a housing bore of 4.499 in (114.275 mm), and an overall width of 0.469 in (11.913 mm); it is part of the 410000 series, features a spring-loaded multi-lip configuration, and includes a Redi-Coat finish. Maximum shaft surface speed is 3000 ft/min, with misalignment tolerance of 0.015 in at 800 rpm and 0.010 in at 4200 rpm, and an operating temperature range from -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C).
