The Thomas & Betts TH324MV Top Entry Hood protects rectangular Pos-E-Kon B Series connectors while providing a secure top-entry cable path for power and control in industrial automation. Made from die-cast aluminum alloy with an epoxy powder-coated finish, it offers corrosion resistance and a robust 1 in. NPT top-entry opening, double locking posts, and a standard-mount double-post design. It is designed for use with B Series 24-contact Pos-E-Kon connectors and delivers 24 contacts plus ground, with a 600 VAC rating and a current rating of 10 A / 16 A. The hood’s IP65 environmental protection is achieved when mated with a compatible base and gasket, making it suitable for demanding environments such as factory automation, robotics, manufacturing equipment, packaging machinery, and process control systems. Operating temperature range is -40°F to 257°F (-40°C to 125°C). The TH324MV uses a double-lock system and includes a gasket for seal integrity, and is compatible with common replacements SH324MV, TH924MV, and TH848MV.
