The Thomas & Betts Star Teck ST250-478SS Stainless Steel Cable Fitting Hub delivers a secure, watertight termination for TECK, ACWU, and armored metal-clad cables in hazardous and industrial environments. Built from 316 stainless steel, it features a built-in O-ring for a 360-degree watertight seal, sharp bonding teeth for excellent grounding continuity, a tapered neoprene bushing to prevent water ingress, and a low-profile gland nut designed for confined spaces. The hub size is 2-1/2 in. NPT and is specified for TECK, ACWU, and MC cables with a jacket range of 2.580–2.840 in and an armor range of 2.440–2.750 in, with a throat diameter of 2.455 in, overall length 4.70 in, and overall diameter 4.75 in. This ST Series fitting provides watertight construction (NEMA Type 4) and operates from -40°C to 90°C, making it suitable for hazardous locations, petrochemical plants, mining, marine environments, power distribution, and other heavy-duty electrical installations.
