Thomas & Betts JSC18-2 Emergency Lighting Unit

The Thomas & Betts JSC18-2 Emergency Lighting Unit is a self-contained 6 V emergency light that delivers a minimum of 90 minutes of illumination during power outages in commercial and industrial facilities. Part of the EMERGI-LITE JS Series, it features a compact 20-gauge steel cabinet with an off-white baked enamel finish and two adjustable EF-18 lamp heads powered by a sealed maintenance-free nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery. The unit automatically switches to battery operation on AC power failure and accepts 120/277 VAC, 60 Hz input, with a PulsePlus automatic charger that includes temperature compensation and brownout protection. Each lamp head uses a standard 9 W high-intensity incandescent lamp, for a combined lamp rating of 18 W, and the Battery Capacity is listed as 18 W. Mounting is wall-mountable and compatible with standard electrical boxes. It is UL 924 Listed and compliant with NEC Life Safety Code (NFPA 101) and OSHA requirements.
