Thomas & Betts GRPE-085-9-C Extruded Grommeting is natural polyethylene edge protection that lines exposed panel edges and knockout openings to guard wires and cables from abrasion caused by vibration, movement, or sharp edges. It is commonly installed in electrical control panels, industrial enclosures, OEM equipment, switchgear, machinery, and junction boxes where conductor insulation requires mechanical protection and is designed for press-on installation without adhesives or fasteners. This extrusion measures 0.200 in (5.08 mm) high, 0.170 in (4.32 mm) wide, with a wall thickness of 0.045 in (1.14 mm), and accommodates panel thicknesses up to 0.085 in (2.15 mm). The natural color grommeting is manufactured from polyethylene, UL 94 HB flammability rated, and RoHS compliant, and it’s supplied on a 100 ft (30.48 m) roll with standard packaging of 1 roll.
