Thomas & Betts GRBUSHING4-G PVC Coated Ground Bushing is a malleable iron, electro zinc–plated grounding bushing with a dark gray finish and a nominal 40 mil PVC exterior coating plus a 2 mil blue urethane interior coating, designed for use with PVC-coated rigid metal conduit and IMC to deliver a positive grounding path and protect conductor insulation at the conduit termination. The 4 in (103 mm) trade size bushing features a tin-plated aluminum lay-in grounding lug for bonding jumpers without disconnecting the conductor, and an insulated throat rated for 150°C (302°F). It is compatible with RMC and IMC, and accepts ground wires in the #14–#4 AWG copper or aluminum range. This part is UL Listed and CSA Certified, with RoHS3 Compliant, REACH Compliant, and TSCA Section 6(h) Compliant, and is positioned for use in corrosive environments such as chemical processing plants, wastewater facilities, marine installations, oil and gas facilities, power generation, and other harsh settings requiring PVC-coated conduit systems and reliable ground connections.
