The Thomas & Betts FPT411 Fire-Retardant Communications Junction Box is a fire-rated enclosure for low-voltage communications and data cable terminations installed in concrete floor poke-through systems. As part of ABB Installation Products’ Steel City FPT Series, it provides a fire-retardant housing designed to protect voice, data, and other low-voltage cabling while maintaining the integrity of the floor assembly. Typically used in commercial office buildings, educational facilities, healthcare centers, conference rooms, and other facilities with fire-rated floor assemblies, it is designed for concrete-floor poke-through installations beneath raised or finished floors and is used by electrical contractors, facility managers, OEM installers, and system integrators for new installations, retrofits, and maintenance. The FPT411 is compatible with Steel City FPT Series fire-rated poke-through assemblies and supports voice, data, and communications cabling; common replacements include Thomas & Betts FPT400B, FPT4-4P-4C-ALM, and FPT4-4P-4C-BRS.
