The Thomas & Betts FPT4-2P-6C Fire-Rated Poke-Through Base Unit provides two pre-wired 20A power receptacles and six communications openings in a single flush-floor assembly for above-grade fire-rated concrete floors, delivering floor-level power and data access without compromising the floor's fire rating. Commonly installed in commercial offices, educational facilities, healthcare centers, conference rooms, airports, and retail spaces where both electrical power and data connectivity are required at floor level, this unit enables secure, modular distribution of services with independent access to the communications compartment so energized power wiring remains shielded. Fabricated from die cast zinc and galvanized steel, it features a 4 in floor core drill size, overall length of 19 in, cover diameter of 7-1/2 in, and a 1/2 in conduit hub. The configuration includes two pre-wired 20A power receptacles and six communications device openings, plus a threaded communications conduit hub and compatibility with fiber optic and audio/video connectors.
