ABB Thomas & Betts ERG4001 Comfort Crimp® Ratchet Crimp Tool is designed to install insulated terminals, splices, and disconnects on electrical conductors ranging from 22 to 10 AWG, producing reliable, repeatable crimps for industrial control panels, machinery wiring, building electrical systems, automation equipment, telecommunications installations, and maintenance operations. It delivers tight, consistent crimps on Sta-Kon® RA, RB, and RC insulated terminals, butt splices, and disconnects using the patented Shure Stake® ratchet mechanism and color-coded die nests for quick size identification. The tool features an ergonomic palm grip with Comfort Grip, black and orange handles, a heavy-duty steel frame with cushioned handles, and integrated color-coded dies, along with a Terminal Locator, Die Embossment, Crimp Assist® Handle, and Ratchet Release Mechanism.
