The Thomas & Betts E-Z-Ground CTP22 Copper Compression Grounding C-Tap Connector provides a permanent compression tap connection between copper grounding conductors, delivering reliable grounding continuity in above-ground and direct burial installations. Commonly installed in electrical substations, utility distribution systems, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and direct burial grounding grids, it supports run conductors from #6 solid to #2 AWG stranded and tap conductors from #6 solid to #2 AWG stranded. This 1-tap, 1-crimp connector is made of high-conductivity copper, prefilled with an oxide inhibitor, and is IEEE 837, UL 467 Listed, CSA Certified as a permanent compression alternative to exothermic welding.
