The Thomas & Betts CS315 GFCI Weatherproof Outlet Kit delivers weatherproof, GFCI-protected outdoor receptacle access in a single-gang enclosure. It uses a 15 A, 125 VAC, 60 Hz GFCI duplex receptacle housed in a die-cast aluminum alloy / zinc single-gang weatherproof box with three 1/2 in. threaded hubs and a Weatherproof While-In-Use cover (silver with white receptacle). Mounting can be vertical or horizontal, the box provides 18 cu in of space, and the unit is self-testing, tamper-resistant, weather-resistant, and wet-location rated. UL Listed and CSA Certified; typical installations include exterior walls, patios, loading docks, industrial plants, warehouses, marinas, parks, and other outdoor electrical installations where reliable GFCI protection is required, and it is used by maintenance electricians, electrical contractors, facility managers, and system integrators for replacements, code upgrades, retrofit projects, and new outdoor installations.
