The Thomas & Betts Ocal 9353431 PVC-Coated Conduit Body is a corrosion-resistant conduit fitting designed to provide removable access for conductor pulling, splicing, inspection, and maintenance in threaded rigid conduit systems while protecting wiring in harsh industrial environments. It features a hot-dip galvanized iron body with a bonded nominal 0.040 in. PVC exterior coating and a nominal 0.002 in. blue urethane interior coating, plus pressure-sealing sleeves on the threaded hubs, a gasketed cover, and encapsulated stainless steel screws to deliver a dependable weather-resistant seal for indoor and outdoor corrosive locations such as chemical processing plants, wastewater treatment facilities, marine installations, oil and gas facilities, power generation plants, and other industrial sites. As part of the Ocal corrosion-resistant conduit system and compatible with RMC and IMC conduits, the 9353431 is UL Listed, CSA Certified, and RoHS Compliant, and is commonly used by maintenance electricians, contractors, and system integrators for new installations, system upgrades, retrofits, or replacement of existing conduit fittings; common replacements include LB37-G, LL37-G, and T37-G.
