Thomas & Betts 1279AL is a 1-1/4 in trade-size aluminum pipe strap designed to secure rigid metal conduit or IMC to a mounting surface. Made from copper-free cast aluminum, it provides dependable strength with reinforced ribs on each side for rigidity. The strap measures 3-3/4 in length, 13/16 in width, and 1-7/8 in height, with a single through-hole ribbed mounting for a 5/16 in bolt. It is intended for use with rigid conduit and IMC and carries CSA certification, along with RoHS3, REACH, and TSCA compliance. Typical applications include securing conduit runs to walls, studs, or structural members in commercial and industrial installations where a durable, corrosion-resistant mounting is required. Pack quantities commonly run 100 straps per box.
