The Timken National 44053 is a springless, single-lip radial shaft seal (Type 4S) designed for grease retention and contaminant exclusion in rotating assemblies. With a solid steel case and nitrile (NBR) sealing lip, it protects bearings in automotive wheel hubs, agricultural equipment, trailers, and industrial machinery where general grease retention is the primary requirement, while helping guard against dirt, dust, and moisture.
