The Timken Company 417366 Radial Shaft Oil Seal

The Timken National 417366 radial shaft oil seal is a spring-loaded Type 41 multi-lip seal designed to retain lubricants and keep contaminants out of rotating equipment. It uses a nitrile (NBR) sealing element in a steel-case construction with an inner case and Redi-Coat finish for dependable operation in industrial gearboxes, pumps, reducers, conveyors, compressors, and electric motors. This seal fits a 3.875 in (98.425 mm) shaft, with an outside diameter of 5.256 in (133.502 mm), housing bore of 5.250 in (133.350 mm), and overall width of 0.500 in (12.700 mm). It supports up to 3000 ft/min shaft surface speed, has a misalignment tolerance of 0.015 in at 800 rpm and 0.010 in at 4200 rpm, and a 7 psi pressure rating, operating from -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C).
