The Timken Company 416321 Radial Shaft Oil Seal

The Timken Company 416321 radial shaft oil seal is a Type 41 multi-lip nitrile seal designed for heavy-duty industrial gearboxes, pumps, electric motors, conveyors, and compressors to retain lubricant and prevent contaminants from entering bearing assemblies. It features a steel inner/outer case with a nitrile (NBR) lip and a spring, and comes with Redi-Coat protection for rapid field installation. The seal accepts a 3.375 in (85.725 mm) shaft and has an outside diameter of 4.756 in (120.802 mm) and a housing bore of 4.751 in (120.675 mm), with an overall width of 0.500 in (12.700 mm). Maximum shaft surface speed is 3000 ft/min, and misalignment tolerance is 0.015 in at 800 rpm or 0.010 in at 4200 rpm. It operates in temperatures from -40°F to 225°F (-40°C to 107°C).
