The Timken National 380023A wheel end oil seal is a PTFE oil bath seal designed to retain lubricant and protect bearings in heavy-duty drive axle wheel hubs. Featuring a PTFE lip material with a quadruple-lip design and no spring, it installs solidly by hand to seal out contaminants as part of the National 38 Series. Its shaft diameter is 3.875 in, outside diameter 5.706 in, and overall width 0.770 in, with an operating temperature range of -100°F to 450°F (-73°C to 232°C). Commonly used in commercial trucks, heavy-duty trailers, fleet vehicles, and industrial transport equipment with oil bath wheel hubs for preventive maintenance and axle repair, the 380023A is compatible with common replacements including SKF 38776, Stemco 393-0212, and Triseal 65552.
