The TEMPCO MBH25460 D13-10 Band Heater is a mica-insulated, clamp-on band heater designed to deliver uniform heat to cylindrical barrels, dies, and other equipment used in plastics processing. It provides 850 W at 460 VAC and uses the D13-10 heater code within TEMPCO's MBH Dura-band series, featuring a stainless steel sheath (series-dependent) for a barrel/cylindrical surface clamp installation. The Dura-band mica-insulated construction offers conductive heat transfer with rapid thermal response and uniform temperature distribution, supporting process temperatures up to 900°F (482°C) in continuous-duty operation. Common applications include injection molding machines, plastic extruders, blow molding equipment, and packaging machinery, and the part is used for repair, retrofit, expansion, or replacement of worn heating elements.
