System Sensor M500X Isolator Module

The System Sensor M500X isolator module is a fault isolator module for addressable fire alarm and life-safety systems, designed to isolate short circuits on signaling line circuits while keeping the rest of the network operational. Operating from 15–32 VDC, it draws up to 450 µA in standby and supports an isolation current of up to 5 mA; fault detection occurs at 4 V, with line restoration at 7 V and a minimum fault-detection delay of 250 ms. This module is part of System Sensor's 500 Series intelligent modules, mounts in a 4-inch square electrical box, and is suitable for signaling line circuits in commercial buildings and industrial facilities requiring reliable fault isolation and system continuity. Common replacements include System Sensor ISO-X module, M500XA module, and Notifier ISO-X module.
