System Sensor BEAM1224 Photoelectric Smoke Detector

The System Sensor BEAM1224 is a four-wire conventional, single-ended reflected beam photoelectric smoke detector designed for large open spaces where traditional spot detectors are difficult to install in life-safety systems. It detects across 16 to 328 ft (5 to 100 m) with an included 8-inch reflector, operates on 10.2 to 32 VDC, and offers six user-selectable sensitivity levels to tailor response to the environment. The unit is wall-mountable and features an integrated optical sight and signal strength meter to simplify alignment and ongoing maintenance, while its operating temperature range of -22°F to 131°F (-30°C to 55°C) suits warehouses, atriums, and other high-ceiling spaces. Common applications include warehouses, distribution centers, gymnasiums, industrial plants, and other large open-area facilities where reliable beam-type detection and early warning are required.
